Mould removal disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer in full before signing.

Mould Removal & Recurrence

Merryweather Cleaning Services provides mould removal and remediation services to the highest professional standard. However, we make no guarantee that mould will not reoccur following treatment. Mould growth is primarily caused by environmental conditions including moisture levels, ventilation, and temperature. Once our work is complete, it is the client's responsibility to maintain a suitable environment to prevent future mould growth.

Release of Liability

By engaging our mould removal services, the client acknowledges and accepts that residual risks exist during and after the removal process. The client releases Merryweather Cleaning Services from any liability for harm, damage, or illness arising from exposure to mould or the mould removal process, where the client has been advised to vacate the property and has chosen not to do so.

Biohazard & Specialist Cleaning

Where mould remediation involves biohazard elements, our trained professionals use industry-standard PPE and equipment. We strongly advise all clients to leave the property during this process. Merryweather Cleaning Services cannot be held responsible for injury or illness resulting from exposure to hazardous materials where clients have remained on the premises against our advice.

Payment & Cancellation

Full payment is required 24 hours before the service date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable. If the property cannot be accessed on the scheduled date, no refund will be issued. Should Merryweather Cleaning Services cancel, a full refund will be provided. We do not offer refunds for completed cleans. Any complaints must be raised within 24 hours of the service for a remedial visit to be arranged.

Specialist & deep cleaning disclaimer

PPE & Safe Working

Merryweather Cleaning Services provides specialist biohazard and deep cleaning services with safety as our highest priority. Our staff wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Under no circumstances will a cleaner carry out any work without PPE. Clients who are uncomfortable with this requirement may request alternative arrangements before the service begins.

Risk Acknowledgement

Clients are strongly advised to leave the property or isolate in a separate area during biohazard and specialist cleaning work. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that risks exist from exposure to hazardous materials. Merryweather Cleaning Services cannot be held responsible for injuries or illnesses resulting from exposure to hazardous materials where the client has remained on the premises against our advice.

Payment
